The IA-3123-2 is an intelligent 64 Digital Input channels module, controlled by Daisy-chain RS-232 Communication method, and is a part of the IA Multi system Series.
This module has several special features, as "Automatic Report" on input change, which means that polling is not a must. it has a special Mask option, to eliminate certain inputs activitiy per customer's will. It can operate relays of a different module that may be controlled through Fiber, Modem, Internet and so on, without the need for an intermediate computer and witout the need off writing code.
